The first thing you’ll want to know about RipTydz is the prime location. It’s situated on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, which means you are overlooking the beach and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. With no detail overlooked in the RipTydz design, you won’t find better views than these. The restaurant/bar is located about one block north of the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, so it really is hard to miss.

This is not a small, intimate spot for dinner – it’s an event. With over 17,000 square feet of space in the building and seating for 500, guests will enjoy the atmosphere and views as much as the scrumptious and wide-ranging menu. Choices for meals will be quite varied, with options including an extensive raw bar, the freshest seafood, steaks and an array of locals’ favorite fresh dishes.

RipTydz brings a completely new design concept to the beach, and it’s unlike anything else you will find on Ocean Boulevard. There is a wonderful flow to the restaurant with a great mix of indoor and outdoor space. The covered outdoor area and indoor space, along with the rooftop deck space, all flow together perfectly, and a super-cool tower connects all of the floors to one another.

Just because this is the hottest and newest addition to the beach doesn’t mean you have to get your crew dressed to impress. The restaurant will have a very beachy and casual atmosphere. The décor features exposed wood, open beam work and lots of windows for those simply amazing, unmatched views. With the restaurant costing over $3.9 million to build, the owners have spared no expense for you to enjoy your time at the restaurant and bar. The goal in the building’s design was to create a vision of a modern-day pier. Mission accomplished! A little tip from a local – make plans to dine at sunset for even more breathtaking views.

RipTydz will cater to all Myrtle Beach visitors. The daytime and early evening hours will be geared toward the family crowds along the beach, while the nighttime will be more for the social crowd, with the restaurant/bar staying open until about 2 a.m. to serve the night owls. RipTydz prides itself on being different from the rest. If you are going to be visiting the restaurant for late nights this summer, be sure to check the 2nd Avenue Pier fireworks schedule, as this will be an excellent spot for watching the shows. You can also kick back and enjoy their Rippin Chillerz, which have been described as juice boxes for adults.

In the Myrtle Beach area, we see a lot of restaurants come and go – but with its promise of offering beach dining and nightlife at its best, this unique establishment has had all the locals buzzing since its groundbreaking. If you need directions to RipTydz or would like more details, be sure to ask our friendly staff during your stay at Paradise Resort. We are always here to help.  Enjoy your summer, and put RipTydz on your to-do list!
